The Spark | March 2025

A Special Note from Tim Westley

In 2022, Crawford Hoying completed the first industrial project - Shook Road Storage - a commercial freezer building. Upon that success, our team has completed three additional industrial projects totaling more than $215M and almost 2M SF of developed space.

In 2023, we decided to identify and pursue properties in four markets specifically to develop commercial freezer buildings. Our current pipeline includes nine commercial freezers with opportunities across six states.

Fast forward to 2024, when Crawford Hoying was selected to develop an advanced manufacturing property in Danville, Virginia. Phase 1 of the project represents a $230M investment and will include both private and public funds. (All four phases of the company’s plan represent a $2B+ investment.) Crawford Hoying will oversee the entire project, including the complex factory improvement for the manufacturer, making us a turnkey solution.

As we continue to seek industrial opportunities across the country, we will face challenges requiring us to "Be Fearless"; however, by embracing innovation and staying adaptable, we can turn these challenges into stepping stones for success.
