Crawford Hoying Purchases Downtown Dayton’s Mendelson Building

DAYTON, OHIO – Crawford Hoying announced today their purchase of the expansive Mendelson building located at 340 East First Street in downtown Dayton, Ohio. Previously home to Mendelsons Liquidation Outlet, the more than 550,000 square foot, eight-story building will be the newest addition to the Water Street District.

“Crawford Hoying purchased this site as part of our ongoing investment in the revitalization of the downtown Dayton area,” said Brent Crawford, principal at Crawford Hoying. “We’re eager to further add vibrancy to the city in developing this project.”

The sale also includes the Mendelson warehouse and lot located at 418 East First Street. Many options for development of the sites are being considered and uses will be announced as development progresses.
