Mikey’s Late Night Slice Opening New Full- Service Location in Dayton, Ohio
July 15, 2025
Dayton, Ohio - This summer, Mikey’s Late Night Slice is bringing the party to Water Street District in Dayton. The irreverent Columbus-based pizza joint is taking over the former Local Cantina space across from Day Air Ballpark to open its tenth location — and its first in the heart of the Gem City.
Just steps from the home of the Dayton Dragons, the new full-service restaurant will stay open late (really late), feature a full bar, and serve up 18” NY-style pizzas — by the slice or whole pie.
"Crawford Hoying is thrilled to welcome Mikey's Late Night Slice to Water Street District, which is rapidly growing into an entertainment hub for downtown Dayton," said Zach Graham, Senior Vice President of Commercial Real Estate and Leasing at Crawford Hoying, co-developer of Water Street District. "Mikey's will be a wonderful complement to the vibrant establishments located within the district, including the recently opened Pins Mechanical Co., Foundry rooftop at the AC Hotel and Day Air Ballpark."
This is Mikey’s second location outside of the Columbus city limits, following their Over-The-Rhine shop in Cincinnati.
“Mikey’s is throwing a party and everyone’s invited! We’ve always been dedicated to delivering unforgettable experiences, whether you’re out for a debaucherous night or looking for a sensible daytime pie. We’re beyond excited to bring the Late-Night flavor to Dayton, and hope you are too,” said Founder Mikey Sorboro.
Construction kicks off soon, with a Grand Opening planned for late 2025.
