Charter Street Cold Storage

In 2023, Crawford Hoying joined forces with BGO Cold Storage and contractor, Contegra Construction, to build a Class A, state of-the-art freezer-cooler building located at 2865 Charter Street in Columbus, Ohio. The freezer-cooler is located one mile from I-270, three miles from I-70 and is in close proximity to two international airports, John Glenn Columbus International Airport and Rickenbacker International airport.

Charter Street was awarded the Best New Industrial Project award at the Columbus Business First 2025 Building Columbus Awards. The award recognizes the new, state-of-the-art, LEED Gold-certified cold storage facility for its development on a formerly vacant infill site in Columbus, Ohio.
