A Special Note from Jessica Rexer
Crawford Hoying and Brackett create communities that bring people together. Not only through the buildings we design, develop, and construct, but also through the experiences and events we host.
Summer is a time for special memories to be made and we understand the importance of that when programming our developments. The summer season kicked off at Bridge Park with Fore!Fest, an annual music and street festival in partnership with the Memorial Tournament, and Saturdays stay busy with The Dublin Market which has grown from 40 to +125 vendors in a few short years. Water Street District's Party at the Plaza continues to inject vibrancy into downtown Dayton, and Reds season is well underway at The Banks in Cincinnati... So many events are happening, and we're only halfway through the year.
While events are a strong catalyst for memories, they're just one piece of the puzzle in making our communities feel like home. From early concept design to day-to-day operations, every detail matters. Our teams are tasked in determining the right commercial tenant mix, wayfinding and signage, building materials and more, which must all come together to create an authentic neighborhood. We don't always get it right, but we learn from each lesson and continue to make strides from one project to the next.
So next time you're at one of our properties, I encourage you to take a minute to soak in what is happening all around you. Whether it's kids eating ice cream, live music echoing through the streets, or families coming out for the holidays, memories are being made that will last a lifetime.
