The Spark | February 2026

A Note from Russell Hunter

Over the last several years, we explored countless development ideas and created many concept plans. No matter how creative, there always seemed to be a reason they didn’t move forward. But 2026 is the year that changes. With two projects already under construction and several more breaking ground soon, we’re executing the largest development pipeline in our company’s history.

And if I may brag for a moment, our development team is stronger than ever. We’ve assembled an exceptionally talented, passionate group from across the profession, all focused on bringing these projects to life.

That pride reflects something bigger: we’ve leveled up as a company. There’s a shared confidence in what we’ve accomplished and real excitement for what’s ahead. We’re finding our voices as industry leaders, and while the pipeline is ambitious, I know we’re going to crush it—and enjoy the journey.

Let’s go!

With two projects already under construction and several more breaking ground soon, we’re executing the largest development pipeline in our company’s history.

- Russell Hunter, Executive Vice President of Development

Employee Spotlight: Greg Bell

1. What’s a small detail on site that often gets overlooked—but makes a big difference? Cleanliness. While it is always on the minds of the contractor and owner, you rarely hear a subcontractor complain about trash. However, a cluttered site definitely slows down a project.

2. Professionally, what has you the most excited for 2026? The potential of starting new projects with new people. There are still many colleagues and partners I haven't had the opportunity to work with yet.

3. What is one lesson you know now that you wish you had known a decade ago? The only dumb questions are the ones not asked. Looking back, I feel I learned everything the hard way. I am proud to see how the construction industry has evolved, as mentorship programs are now much more prevalent.

4. Favorite vacation spot? Kauai. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, it offers a much better experience than the other Hawaiian islands.
