Microporous Advanced Manufacturing

Microporous LLC, a leading manufacturer of battery separators, has committed to invest $1.35 billion to establish a new manufacturing facility in Pittsylvania County, marking a new chapter in Virginia’s manufacturing story. The company will occupy two phases of the project at the Southern Virginia Megasite, with each phase covering approximately 500,000 square feet. 

Crawford Hoying is currently serving as the developer and project management firm for Microporous to assist in the development of their new advanced manufacturing facility in Danville, Virginia. Crawford Hoying is leading the charge in project financing, design/site development and serves as the construction manager overseeing more than $200 million worth of work.
