Rickenbacker Cold Storage Logistics Center

Crawford Hoying developed this 160,000 SF speculative Class A freezer/cooler adjacent to the Rickenbacker International Airport in Columbus, Ohio – known as the first fully-speculative cold storage project built in the Midwest. Crawford Hoying developed this capital-intensive project to provide the Columbus region with a state-of-the-art, energy-efficient offering that could compete on a national level to attract critical cold-chain end users to the market.

Premium Brands selected the building to serve its international network of SK Food Group manufacturing facilities located across the US and Canada. The building incorporates advanced energy-saving features and a comprehensive approach to meeting the highly specialized functional and operational needs of the frozen food Industry.
